Alkimiya is a market protocol for fundamental metrics. Its flagship product, fundamental.space, enables users to speculate and create strategies based on the true forces shaping markets—including blockspace demand, onchain revenue, stablecoin metrics, and macro indicators. Fundamental metrics command attention because they reveal what people are actually doing—not just what they're speculating about.
Launched in August 2024, Alkimiya is a result of years of deep research. It is funded by leading investors Dragonfly, Castle Island Ventures, 1KX, Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures, Tribe Capital, Mirana, GMR, and Robot Ventures etc.
Since 2024, the foundation of the crypto industry has fundamentally transformed. Project teams, exchanges, trading logic, and liquidity models have all undergone profound changes. This transformation stems from a shift in participants. The pre-2020s crypto ecosystem no longer exists, partly due to mass adoption and regulations that enable institutions to participate more directly. These new entrants have introduced a deep cultural shift in the industry.
Two distinct valuation logics now dominate. Retail newcomers (onboarded via apps like Phantom) chase social momentum. TikTok virality trumps ideals like decentralization. Data tools are rapidly evolving to trade these attention cycles. Institutions, enabled by friendlier regulation, treat crypto as another asset class: bank-custodied tokens, RWAs, stablecoins, and ETFs anchored in traditional fundamentals. There is almost no overlap between the two worlds, and the bifurcation is expected to only widen from here.
